Rénovation et extension
The project to rehabilitate and extend the youth center in the city of Marly-le-Roi aims to bring this construction from the 1970s – characterized by its star-shaped framework – into a new life cycle. Built at a time when energy consumption issues were not at the heart of societal challenges, the existing building contains numerous thermal bridges and waterproofing problems. At the same time, the numerous modifications and interventions carried out over the years no longer allow a coherent reading of the building architecture. The priority of the project is to ensure the comfort of users throughout the year, which is why the entire building envelope will be renovated. This intervention offers the opportunity to define a coherent architectural identity for this facility and thus continue to welcome the youth of Marly-le-Roi in optimal conditions.
Le projet de réhabilitation et d’extension du pôle jeunesse de la commune de Marly-le-Roi a pour objectif de faire entrer cette construction des années 70 – caractérisée par sa charpente en étoile - dans un nouveau cycle de vie. Construit à une période où les enjeux énergétiques n’étaient pas au cœur des défis sociétaux, l’existant présente de nombreux ponts thermiques et problèmes d’étanchéité. En parallèle les nombreuses modifications et interventions réalisées au fil des années ne permettent plus d’avoir une lecture cohérente du bâtiment. La priorité du projet est d’assurer le confort des usagers tout au long de l’année pour cela l’ensemble de l’enveloppe du bâtiment fera l’objet d’une réhabilitation. Cette intervention offre l’opportunité de définir une identité architecturale cohérente pour cet équipement et ainsi d’accueillir dans des conditions optimales la jeunesse de Marly-le-Roi.
