Création d'un point service et information
The project is located in the town of Le Portel in the Pierre Loti district made up of buildings built after the Second World War. The project is located on the site of a former supermarket slipped between two buildings. The project aims to build a reception point dedicated to exchanges between residents and the social landlord responsible for the neighborhood. With a surface area of 160m², the program consists of workspaces and a large meeting room. Characterized by the archetypal shape of its roof, the project stands out from the surrounding parallelepiped buildings that surround it due to its volume and its materiality. Made entirely of a wooden structure, its enveloping materiality aims to make it a landmark in the neighborhood. The absence of structural walls inside the project makes this building a flexible and evolving space with the aim of creating a place of exchange and meeting for the entire neighborhood.
Le projet se situe sur la commune du Portel dans le quartier Pierre Loti composé d’une dizaine de barres et de tours construites à l’issue de la seconde guerre mondiale. Le projet est implanté sur l’emprise d’un ancien commerce glissé entre deux immeubles. Le projet vise à construire un point accueil dédié aux échanges entre les habitants et le bailleur social responsable du quartier. D’une surface de 160m² le programme se compose d’espaces de travail et d’une grande salle de réunion. Caractérisé par la forme archétypale de sa toiture, le projet s’inscrit en rupture par son volume et sa matérialité avec les formes parallélépipédiques des immeubles qui l’entourent. Entièrement réalisé en ossature bois, sa couverture enveloppante vise à en faire un point de repère dans le quartier. L’absence de murs de refend fait de ce bâtiment un espace flexible et évolutif dans l’objectif de créer un lieu d’échange et de rencontre à l’échelle du quartier.
